India-based online grocery delivery startup Zepto secured another [redacted] million from Goodwater Capital last week in its Series E round. This brings the total funding raised in the round so far to [redacted] million, according to DATA VANTAGE.

The e-commerce company became India’s first unicorn after raising $200 million in Series E funding in August this year. The round was led by StepStone Group, which contributed [redacted] million in what was its first direct investment in an Indian company.

Founded in May 2022, Zepto offers an e-commerce app that delivers groceries, fruits, vegetables, personal care products and more in 10 minutes. It competes with the likes of Swiggy Instamart, Zomato-backed Blinkit, and Reliance-backed Dunzo.

Healthtech company ObvioHealth bagged $15 million last week in Series B2 funding from Australia-based venture capital firm [redacted], William Taylor Nominees Pty, [redacted] and Switzerland-based Magnolia Private Office.

The global virtual research organisation (VRO) is also issuing warrants to these investors to pick up additional shares.

Earlier in February 2022, ObvioHealth had secured $5.65 million from William Taylor Nominees Pty, which is controlled by James and Marion Taylor.

Bangladesh-based transport technology service provider Jatri issued shares worth [redacted] million to Reflect Ventures, Genting Ventures and SBK Tech Ventures, among other investors, last week.

Radiant1, a hotel management solutions company, issued shares worth [redacted] million to investors, including Monk’s Hill Ventures, last week. The company has secured [redacted] million in fresh funding from the VC firm and issued shares to investors under previously signed CARE and SAFE agreements, according to its regulatory filings.

Singapore-based AI-powered cybersecurity company CloudSEK bagged $823k last week from MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia and Omidyar Network.

Genexyz, an Indonesia-based meta human tech platform, bagged $800k last week from investors, including East Ventures, Emtek-owned Surya Citra Media, Massive Music Entertainment and Trinity Optima.

Indonesian agritech startup Semaai secured $750k from Ruvento Ventures and Sumitomo Corporation Equity Asia last week, bringing the total in its ongoing round to [redacted] million.

Singapore-based digital securities exchange SDAX Financial posted a 78% surge in losses in the financial year ended December 31, 2022, as its revenue dropped by around 41%.
