Singapore-headquartered cybersecurity firm watchTowr received a capital injection from from Peak XV Partners, Prosus Ventures and Cercano Management last week.

The funding is part of a new Series A round, according to its regulatory filings. The company’s share price is up 55.5% from its pre-Series A round in 2022.

Focused on external attack surface management, watchTowr helps organisations continuously identify potential vulnerabilities and security gaps in their internet-facing assets and systems.

The latest round brings the company’s total funding to [redacted] million and its valuation to [redacted] million. According to its filings, watchTowr plans to use the proceeds from its latest round to buy back shares from its founder and for expansion and working capital needs.

Spark Systems, a Singapore-based global foreign exchange trading platform, received [redacted] million from London-based fintech group AT Capital last week.

CyberAgent Capital has exited its investment in video entertainment platform Viddsee by selling its shares to an entity with links to [redacted] founding investor [redacted].

Agritech and electronics company RYNAN Technologies saw some shares change hands last week from a private equity fund managed by [redacted] to its founder and chairman, Nguyen Thanh My.

Malaysian FMCG major Mamee-Double Decker has bought more secondaries in Singapore-based gourmet snacks company The Golden Duck.
