Data Vantage | SirionLabs, Qoala, Pomelo and Legit Group secure capital

SirionLabs, a global provider of AI-powered contract lifecycle management (CLM) software applications, has raised fresh funding in an extension to an $85 million Series D round announced in May last year.
It has secured $25 million from Brookfield Asset Management, show its latest regulatory filings.
SirionLabs had earlier raised $85 million from Partners Group, Sequoia Capital India and Tiger Global, a development DealStreetAsia first reported in April 2022.
The SaaS startup recently acquired contract management solutions provider Zendoc for roughly $3 million. The acquisition, first reported by DealStreetAsia in August, was confirmed by the company in November last year.
Singapore-based healthtech startup Doctor Anywhere received $30.7 million last week from Novo Holdings, Kamet Capital, Square Peg Capital, EDBI and OSK-SBI Venture Partners. The funding is part of the company’s $38.8 million Series C1 round announced last month.
Lead backer Novo Holdings, an international life sciences investor, contributed $20 million to the round.
The company had earlier said that part of the Series C1 proceeds will go towards its acquisition of Asian Healthcare Specialists, an integrated healthcare provider in Singapore.

Thailand’s fashion commerce platform Pomelo received another $3.87 million in Series D funding last week, taking its round total to $8.2 million. The new investment came from return backer Jungle Ventures.
Legit Group, a multi-brand cloud kitchen operator in Indonesia, has raised $9.35 million in a Series A round from MDI Ventures, SMDV and East Ventures.
Indonesia-based insurtech company Qoala raised $6.5 million from a group of investors last week. The company’s paid-up capital now stands at over $90 million.
Zero-Error Systems, a Singapore-based manufacturer of semiconductor integrated circuits, issued new shares worth $3.9 million last week. It has raised $2.5 million in fresh funding from Dart Family Office and allotted shares to convertible noteholders, including Airbus Ventures.
South Korean pharmaceutical company Daehan New Pharm has invested $1.6 million in Singapore-based TSG Therapeutics. The latter is a preclinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that focuses on tackling viral infectious diseases.
Singapore-registered Mandaya Medical International, which operates Indonesia-based Mandaya Hospital Group, has received $17 million from its existing shareholders Bangkok Bank and private equity firm Kendall Court.
Westpac-backed venture capital firm Reinventure has topped up its investment in Singapore-based FinAccel, the parent of Indonesia-focused fintech lending firm Kredivo, with a fresh injection of $1.3 million. FinAccel had secured nearly $140 million in a Series D round announced in October.
Vietnamese internet company VNG Corporation invested $7 million in its Singapore subsidiary last week, bringing its total investment in the latter in 2022 to $14.9 million.
