Indonesian startup NutriMotion has secured [redacted] million in seed funding from venture capital (VC) firm [redacted], according to regulatory filings.
Founded by Luyang Tai and Tingting Du, the startup offers cost-effective gym memberships and high-quality vitamins, according to a recent job posting. NutriMotion CEO Tai is also the co-founder, along with former Missfresh CFO Jun Wang, of Indonesia-based social commerce company Sailors Technology (also known as HATATA), per his LinkedIn profile.
According to NutriMotion’s filings with Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), it could raise an additional [redacted] in seed funding from other investors.
According to a report by Grand View Research, the global sports nutrition market was valued at $45.24 billion in 2023. It is projected to grow at a rate of 7.5% annually from 2024 to 2030, primarily due to increasing consumer awareness of fitness and nutrition.

US and Singapore-based climate technology startup Aether Fuels received $2.5 million last week from Twin Towers Ventures, the VC arm of Malaysian oil and gas firm PETRONAS. The funding is part of a $34 million Series A round announced in June.
Indonesia-based aquatech startup DELOS received [redacted] million from Mandiri Capital, the corporate VC arm of Bank Mandiri, last week. The latest funding brings its Series A total to [redacted] million. It had raised $5.75 million from Monk’s Hill Ventures in the first close of the round last year.
Fintech firm Envisso (formerly known as Kinetic Innovation), which helps payment companies identify and mitigate fraud, compliance, and merchant risk, received [redacted] million from existing investor Forge Ventures last week.
Singapore-headquartered payments tech company Optty received fresh capital from two investors last week. The company is also seeking to buy some of its shares back from shareholders, including founding team members David Peck and Andrew Stott, for [redacted] million, show its regulatory filings.
Vietnam-based retail performance management solutions provider Palexy issued shares worth $350k to early-stage VC firm Do Ventures last week. The company had announced raising $1 million in seed funding from Do Ventures and Access Ventures in 2020.
Singapore-based edtech startup Cialfo has issued shares worth [redacted] to Francis Miller, whose LinkedIn profile shows he has been a counsellor in residence and an advisory board member at the firm since 2020.
