Indonesian digital lender KoinWorks issued shares worth [redacted] million to investors, including Saison Capital, last week.

The share allotment is part of a new Series D round, per the startup’s regulatory filings. Lead investor Saison Capital has so far contributed [redacted] million to the financing.

Other entities to receive new shares last week include a special purpose vehicle (SPV) owned by [redacted] and another vehicle backed by Karen Darmono Kweefanus.

KoinWorks, which provides a financial platform for micro, small and micro enterprises (MSMEs), had raised $108 million in a Series C round led by MDI Ventures last year. The round comprised $43 million in equity and $65 million in debt funding.

MiCare, a medical claims administrator in Southeast Asia, has received $5.8 million from its parent company, Asian healthcare services group Zuellig Pharma.

The startup manages and administers medical claims for 50 insurers in the region that serve more than 6,500 corporate clients comprising more than 5,000 hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.

MiCare had last announced raising $60 million from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Mitsui & Co in 2021.

Indonesian proptech startup Kozystay has received [redacted] million from Cercano Management, formerly known as Vulcan Capital.

Singapore- and Silicon Valley-based biotech company Engine Biosciences received [redacted] million from SEEDS Capital. The funding is part of its Series A-3 round, per regulatory filings.

Singapore-headquartered SME financing platform SmartFunding has allotted shares worth $1.13 million to parent company ASEAN Fintech Group, the fintech arm of ASX-listed Fatfish Group, and another shareholder.

Biotech company Nalagenetics received $1.35 million last week from a vehicle understood to be linked to [redacted].

Singapore-based fintech startup BondbloX received $1 million from Beacon VC, the corporate VC arm of Thai lender Kasikornbank, last week. The latest transaction brings its Series B2 round total to [redacted] million. Other investors to have backed the financing include MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia and Citigroup.

Qiscus, an Indonesian multichannel and in-app chat technology provider, has issued preference shares worth over $580k to investors, including PT Mensa Aktiva and Prasetia Dwidharma.

Singapore-based regenerative agriculture-focused firm RegenX issued shares worth [redacted] to Wavemaker Impact last week.
