Edition #249, 16 Feb 2023
Dear Reader,
Singapore-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup klikit received $270,000 this week from South Korean early-stage investor FuturePlay and Australia-based Startup Galaxy.
The funding is on top of the $5.64 million secured recently by the company in its seed round led by Wavemaker Partners. The company has raised nearly $8 million in equity funding to date.
Founded in 2021 by former Gojek marketplaces VP Christopher Withers, klikit offers a B2B platform that aggregates and analyses a restaurant’s food delivery orders on a single mobile device. It emerged out of stealth mode in October.
Singapore-domiciled digital payroll platform Skuad received $750,000 this week from investors, including Rapyd Ventures, the venture capital arm of fintech-as-a-service firm Rapyd, as part of a $15 million Series A round announced in October.
The round was led by Go-Ventures and joined by BEENEXT, Mindlance and Anthemis. Go-Ventures partner Siddharth Pisharody and Mindlance co-founder and MD Vikram Kalra joined Skuad’s board of directors in October.
