Loyalty management solutions provider Giift issued shares worth [redacted] million to vehicles managed by UK-based private equity firm Apis Partners and another investor last week.

Apis received shares worth [redacted] million, while a vehicle owned by [redacted] got the rest.

The Singapore-headquartered startup had in January 2022 announced securing $50 million from the PE firm in Series C funding. Giift had then said it would use the funding to expand in the Asia Pacific and Africa, and build market share in North America and Europe.

Philippines-based e-commerce enabler etaily received a capital injection from Greater China-based investment firm SKS Capital, JG Digital Equity Ventures, Pavilion Capital and Kaya Founders, among other investors, last week. The funding is part of a recently announced $17.8 million Series A round.

The round was led by SKS Capital and Pavilion Capital, which have contributed [redacted] million each so far.

Fintech firm Honest Bank received $18 million from Japan’s Orient Corporation last week. The Series B funding saw the company’s share price increase [redacted]% from its previous financing. The investment makes Orient Corp one of the top shareholders in Honest Bank.

Singapore-based smart battery swapping startup Oyika has received an additional [redacted] million from Thailand’s Banpu NEXT in Series B funding. The company had earlier received funding from the Thai smart energy solutions provider as part of the round, which also included the issuance of shares to Malaysia’s Yinson Holdings under a convertible note agreement.

Food biotech company IncreBio, formerly known as JuiceInnov8, issued shares worth $500k to backers, including angel investors Archawat Chareonsilp and Ramade Silapapom, last week. The 500 Global-backed company plans to disrupt the juice market by launching its near-zero sugar juices.

The Singapore unit of digital assets exchange Upbit received over $741k from its APAC parent company last week.

Artificial intelligence (AI) company Aicadium received [redacted] million from parent Temasek Holdings last week. The company, which provides AI-powered industrial computer vision solutions, was founded in 2021 by the Singapore state investor.
