Dear Reader,

Renewable energy company EDP Renewables APAC, formerly Sunseap, has received fresh capital from its parent company EDP Renovaveis S.A through the allotment of ordinary shares worth [redacted], according to its latest filings with Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). The filings show that the company issued 111,226 shares priced at [redacted] apiece.

This marks the parent’s second capital injection this year, after a [redacted] injection in March, bringing its total injection this year to [redacted]. The company has raised [redacted] since its establishment in 2015.

Resilient climate tech

Despite shrinking cheque sizes, fundraising for climate tech startups in SE Asia remains resilient.
