Biobot Surgical, a Singapore-based company that develops minimally-invasive robotic diagnostic solutions, secured [redacted] million in new investment last month from a group of investors, including a vehicle backed by businessman Tony Tan Choon Keat, and long-time backer ZIG Ventures.

The healthtech company is best known for its iSR’obot Mona Lisa, a diagnostic tool that is equipped with MRI-ultrasound fusion capability for the diagnosis and prognosis of prostate cancer. The product has obtained regulatory approvals in Europe, the US, Australia and Singapore.

Founded in 2007, Biobot has been a part of ZIG Ventures, a Singapore-based investment company focusing on healthtech assets, since 2013.

Singapore-based lab-grown meats company Meatiply has issued shares worth $4.75 million to investors, including Wavemaker Partners, AgFunder and SEEDS Capital.

The allotment follows the first close of the startup’s seed funding round at $3.75 million. Meatiply has also issued shares to SAFE holders that backed its pre-seed round, per its regulatory filings.

One of the frontrunners in the cultivated meat space, the company is aiming to launch its products in Singapore first. It plans to submit an application to the city-state’s regulatory body by the end of 2025.

Hotelogix, a travel tech company that provides cloud-based solutions for hotel management, turned a profit last year as its revenue grew 87%. The company has raised over $5 million in funding to date.

East Ventures-backed StickEarn, an advertising technology company based in Indonesia, generated [redacted] million in revenue last year, representing a 51% increase compared to the previous year’s performance.
